Nancy Yu and Lesley Yao at work on their visit to the UCT Genetics Department

5 pupils from Grade 11 accompanied Mrs Drew to a very exciting day at the Genetics Department of the University of Cape Town. The pupils were enthralled at the  scientific information received as well as being able to “run DNA in  an electrophoresis tank” themselves.
