Report on U15B Cricket Match on Mon 17th of Oct against Grassy Park High School
Bergvliet won the toss and elected to bat first.
We got off to a steady start with consistent partnerships throughout the innings. Kalan Perumalsamy top scored with 25 retired and he was ably supported by Bahaarit Khan with 18 not out and Joshua Dudley and Nathan Botha on 10 each. We reached a total of 110 for 5 after 21 overs.
Grassy Park went into bat and started promisingly but a steady flow of wickets resulted in them falling well short of the target. They were bowled out for 69. The notable bowlers were:-
Faeez williams with figures of 3 overs 2 wickets for 12 runs
Kalan Perumalsamy with figures of 3 overs 1 maiden 2 wickets for 16 runs
Junaid Baker with figures of 0.4 overs 1 maiden 3 wickets for 0 runs
A strong all round performance by everyone.
